The Clann That Will Not Die

Tae the tune of Scots Wha hae
but known in this variant as either The Muir's Battle Wi The Midgie
or

The Massacre O The Midgie Rant

Wi oor potions and oor creams
We'll delight tae hear ye scream
Soon ye'll find it's no a dream
Nightmares come frae Muir's

Durum non Frangor is oor call
We are no dismayed at all
Midgies in battalions fall
They that stand are Muir's

Beasties drive lesser folk tae Bars
Some seek refuge in their cars
Come on Midgies dae your worst
Muir's don't turn and flee

Why do ye think we use the fly
Dare the salmon pass us by
We can get some more och aye
Midgies bow the knee

Wi good broadsword,dirk and targe
Smite the midgies though they're large
We shall spread them flat like Marge
A Muir,A Muir for Aye.
