- My interest started when my mother's ancestry was traced to Jonathon Moore from Scotland. I'm also interested in celtic history and love scottish music. Now that I have the honor of being Ky's HC, I'm interested in promoting our Clann.

Film by Ken Burns - 'The National Parks' America's Best Idea
There will be a PBS film about US National Parks that will include John Muir. On the back of my Sierra Magazine (Sept/Oct 2009), is a picture of John Muir and it says 'It was because of his walks In the Woods that the woods are still There. Meet John Muir and the rest of the people behind our national parks.

What is interesting about this publication is firstly that it was started in 1817. This is a period in Scottish history where the Scots were making huge progress. We were making great strides in literacy, inventions, emigration, manufacturing and scientific discoveries. I've been meaning to join the site for a while now but never got round to it for one reason or another.
