I have checked up on your suggestion of the Savannah Highland Games as a site for us Moore Clansmen to particpate and brag of our Mighty Clan ! I am waiting for the organizers to return my email so that I can understand the particulars of our Clan's participation in 2010. I, like most , are extremely busy with many things. But I cannot think of anything more important than putting our good Name into the frey !

I will let you know of what they reply with and then you can tell me what we might have in the way of any banner or flag or whatever that the Clan may have to ship here. The event looks as if it occurs every early May.

Our people are from the "Tipton County, Tennessee" area, and I have searched ad nauseum for information pertaining to our family prior to 1857 to no avail. I will follow up with your Point of Contact's (POC's) as soon as I can.

As a Scots-Irishman, I'm honored to align myself to Clann Muir. I haven't joined anyother Clann (ie Campbell, Gordon, Leslie, or Boyd) and don't expect to. I beleive in my heart that all roads lead to Clann Muir, and until I learn different - I'm a Muir decendant.
