Jay, thank you for the warm welcome. My pic was by accident. I thought I had a different one. I will, however, let my neice know you appreciated her sense of humor. She is quite a character and loves the photo booth on my laptop. I never know what I will find when she is done.

Hi Jay,
I know what you mean, I stared at those 800 photographs for over a period of 8 years now, and since I have scanned some, I can change the tint and contrast and brightness to see what lay behind hidden in the lichen and patina changes. I will be happy to share what I have found out. The first identification given of these writings are they are Fremont Culture, who are abundant in the area and spread to Utah at Vernal, they dissappeared abt 1392, and stangely I must say. They left their belongings, which was not a custom, when they moved out of a camp, they would break all the pottery there so noone else could use it and they would make more in the new location. They are not identified as a people or tribe, which I find very curious. There is also Barrier canyon styled writing on this shelter wall, They are 10,000 years old, and not much information on them either. There are several places that both Berrier and Fremont styles are found. They also are all solar calendars. I have photos from Ashfork Arizona that match my writings of the western Colorado plateau. I have some from Texas and New Mexico as well. I follow the history, alwasy go to museums everywhere I go. I visited the Alaneits flint quarry near Borger TX where I worked for a short time. I passed through Folsom CO to get there, so naturally, I stop and learn something. I am the sort that likes to doddle and learn as opposed to scurrying to get to a destination. The best part of a trip is the journey itself! I will add more when I can, and I am glad to know someone else has this interest. Thanks!
Good evening,
Karen
