Hi Jann
We are one up on you in Florida. We put in a full memory foam matress - fantastic. It came shrink wrapped from Costco and once I punctured the wrapping it began to expand - to a full 12" thick. What a great sleep.
It's getting cold here, subzero this morning, and snow's not far off. Fortunately we head south at the end of the month, our dollar is nearly at par and things are looking rosy..

I thank you for the warm welcome and hope to meet new friends and learn more about a side of me that until lately I have not researched. I have become pretty good at the geneology game quite by accident.LOL I spent several years hunting lost family members of my own, and through trial and error (which I think is the best way to learn) located them. One was my sister who I had lost for 23 years and the other is my blood father, who I never knew.
I have just come back around to researching the heritage behind my surname and have to admit...I am not surprised to find myself of Scottish decent. I have always had an ember smoldering in my chest for the scenery, the people and the music.

Dear Jann, Thanks for the welcome back and it is good to be back! I am enjoying all the bonny photos from the Scotland Homecoming! I think I am trying to see everything too quickly after trying to catch up from the time my computer was gone= so, did I not see anywhere all the names of those in the photos or, am I indeed looking lopsided?? I would love to be sure who each dear one is as I will hopefully make a printed copy soon. Thanks again! Carol
