Survey; What color is your hair and your eyes?

Out of curiosity of characteristics passed down to us, I wonder how many have the same color eyes and hair? Granted, your colors are determined by your mother's or father's side of your family, but I wonder what the statistics will end up to be as "dominant".
My hair is light brown with golden and red highlights (and the grey of earned wisdom).
My eyes are Hazel, they can look blueish and greenish with gold flecks.
The DNA results I just recieved states our haplogroup is R1b1b2 (but not SNP tested yet) The Ancient "origin" of my family was 3% (between "significant" and "Very Significant" of Northern Ireland in the 37 marker tests), the more recent generations share 1% Scotland origin added which was not "significant" in those who have tested so far on FTDNA database but was present.
Would you be so kind as to share your traits information here?

I have light brown hair, a red beard, and light brown eyes. How do I go about doing the DNA testing for past origin that sounds cool!!

I went through the Moore worldwide project called the smallstuff.com they all test through Family Tree DNA or FTDNA. The Moores of all variant spellings are encouraged to test. What we are doing is establishing the true fact that we are of an ancient culture that was denied it's traditions for quite some time now. Gaelic Scots we are, and we had homes in Northern Ireland for centuries! This means our ancestors were with the Saints! or maybe they are the Saints! It will be exciting to find out :)

I was born with RED hair and hazel/brown eyes...........Hair is now GRAY ........eyes stayed the same color....I've been told that I get green flecks in my eyes when I am mad .........what ever that means hahahahaha

I have brown hair and brown eyes. When I was young I had blonde hair. My grandfather Moore and brown hair and brown eyes also. My father had dark brown hair and hazel eyes.

Well my hair is similar to how you have described yours. My beard before it started going white was a bit mixed but gives the overall impression of a reddish colour. My eyes are more unusual, one being Brown and the other a blue/grey colour. This has come down through the Muir side but according to family history records, originally came into the Muir family from the Paterson side. This irregularity has been known in our Muir/Paterson family for two to three hundred years that I know of.

Also hearing loss was an inherited trait that presented heavily in my Muir family and in photos of my Great Grandfather Adam Cairns Muir and his father, my Great, Great Grandfather, William Paterson Muir, their hair went white at an early age.

I have the platted hair of Adam’s daughter, Beatrice Daisy Cairns Muir (my Grandmother) from when she cut her hair short in the 1920’s and it is a deep red colour, auburn, one might say. I could have this hair DNA tested as it is more pure “Muir” by two generations than I.

Interesting stuff!! Thanks for sharing. I have 3 kids of my own and the first had blonde hair blue eyes, and his father was brown and brown, my second child had brown and brown, then a third had brown and brown and her father had hazel same as mine...go figure. It is fun to investigate it. My mom had blonde and blue, my dad hazel and brown, my brother has blonde and blue, sister has brown hair blue eyes, mine also have a cataract in one lol, which I have to get taken care of soon or I wont be driving anymore...
